What is the Grunderwerbsteuer-Rechner?

Grunderwerbsteuer is the German property transfer tax, payable when buying real estate. Rates range from 3.5% in Bavaria to 6.5% in NRW, Brandenburg, Berlin, Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein, and Thuringia.
