Indonesia's Value Added Tax (PPN — Pajak Pertambahan Nilai) is 11% on most goods and services, raised from 10% in April 2022. A 12% rate applies to luxury goods (Barang Mewah). Certain goods are zero-rated or exempt: basic food commodities, healthcare services, financial services, and education.
