Is there IOF on investments in Brazil?
IOF applies to fixed-income investments (CDB, LCI, LCA) for withdrawal within 30 days, on a regressive scale from 96% (day 1) to 0% (day 30+). After 30 days, no IOF applies to investment income, but IR still applies.
