IVF Due Date Calculator
For a 5-day blastocyst transfer, add 261 days to the transfer date. For a 3-day transfer, add 263 days. IVF due dates are typically more precise than LMP-based dates since the exact fertilization and transfer dates are known.

Naegele's rule: due date = LMP + 280 days (40 weeks). Trimesters: T1 = weeks 1-13, T2 = weeks 14-27, T3 = weeks 28-40. Always confirm with your healthcare provider.

Common questions about IVF Due Date Calculator
How do I calculate IVF due date from transfer date?
For a Day 5 blastocyst transfer: due date = transfer date + 261 days. For a Day 3 transfer: add 263 days. For a Day 2 transfer: add 264 days. This equals the standard 40 weeks from LMP, adjusted for the known embryo age at transfer.
Are IVF pregnancies higher risk?
IVF pregnancies have slightly higher rates of multiples (if more than one embryo transferred), preterm birth, and low birth weight. Single embryo transfers (SET) have outcomes very close to natural conception. Most IVF singleton pregnancies progress normally and deliver healthy babies.
Does IVF change the due date calculation?
The due date math is identical - 40 weeks total. The only difference is the starting reference point. With IVF you use embryo age at transfer instead of LMP. An OB will often confirm and adjust dates based on 8-12 week ultrasound measurements regardless of how conception occurred.
