How to Open Sukanya Samriddhi Account at Post Office
To open an SSY account, visit any post office or authorized bank branch (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Canara Bank, etc.). Bring: birth certificate of the girl child, parent/guardian's KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, address proof), and a minimum opening deposit of Rs 250 (cheque or cash). The account is opened in the girl's name with the parent as guardian.
